"Southeast trail" is a 270 kilometers long bike path between Växjö and Simrishamn passing through nine municipalities in three landscapes.
Southeast trail maintains a high international standard in the class with the established cycling routes in Europe. Approximately 85% are free from cars and 80% are asphalt. The trail has red signs in both directions with the number "2". This means that Sydostleden is the second national biketrail ready in Sweden (Number one is Kattegattelden Göteborg-Helsingborg, which was ready in 2015). For planning your trip there is a digital planningtool at sydostleden.se. There is also a map/description for sale in swedish, english and german, bought for example in the Tourism offices along the trail. For more info please contact the closest Tourism office.
